During the International German Sportsfestival the OC 1st Golden Age Gym Festival 2005 presented in the own stand the information regarding the event.

Different participating groups from Europe used the opportunity to collect information and to clarify open questions concerning accommodation or flights. In the stand were distributed 3.000 flyers and Bulletin Nr. 1 to the interested teams.

On May, the 13th and 14th the members of the Commission General Gymnastics UEG met in Berlin. During the meeting the members prepared the programme details and the Bulletin Nr. 2 of the 1st Golden Age Gym Festival 2005 Maspalomas.

The OC 1st Golden Age Gym Festival 2005 will distribute in May the Bulletin Nr. 2 and the final entry form to the UEG member Federations. The members of the Commission General Gymnastics UEG underline positively the wide echo received for the Pre-Registration.

The 1st Golden Age Gym Festival 2005 Maspalomas was presented to the members of the Commission General Gymnastics of FIG and UEG.

The OC 1st Golden Age Gym Festival is happy to announce the Pre-Registration of more than 1.100 participants and 53 groups from 22 European Federations. Actually the biggest delegation is coming from...... Iceland! ISL (6/156). The local host, Spain is participating with 7 groups and 198 participants.

On March 26th and 27th the Organisational Committee Golden Age Gym Festival 2005 Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, ESP and the representatives from the Commission General Gymnastics UEG, Rogerio Valerio and Jesús Telo Rodríguez met in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for the coordination of the activities and to supervise the actual status of the preparations. The participants were surprised about the active echo of this new UEG event within the European Gymnastics Federations.
